Melbourne Newborn Photographer | Baby Abby

When Abby visited my photography studio in Montmorency, I fell instantly in love with her whole family. How lovely they all were, so in love with each other. I am so so pleased they chose me to photograph Abby as a teeny tiny newborn baby girl ❤

There is nothing not to love, cheeky faces, Big Brother love, happiness, sweetness, love love love!! The most beautiful family to photograph in my studio on a cold September morning.

Melbourne Newborn Photographer | Baby Remy

Sweet Newborn Baby Remy ❤

I was so excited to meet this gorgeous little man, after meeting his Mum and Dad for their Maternity Photography Session a few weeks prior, I knew his Newborn photo shoot was going to be amazing!

Ant and Leevai are just so incredibly awesome, chilled and laid back, Any had sent me a few photos of Remy in the days prior to them visiting the studio and I was already in love with his little face.

He smiled his way through his session, slept so peacefully, cuddled like every little boy should. Photographing the three of them together was so so precious, the love shared between them all is like no other, Ant and Leevai just adore their brand new baby boy and it was an absolute privilege to work with them all. It is sessions like this in my studio that make me truly love what I do.

Thank you Ant, Leevai and Remy for reminding me of what it was like in the first few days with my own little people. Come back and see me soon pretty please!! x

Melbourne Family Photographer | The Young Family

In March I celebrated my birthday, and to celebrate I had a session giveaway, just because I can! The awesome Young Family won the grand prize and I was so excited for them!

I briefly met Bek from The Waltzing Moose at the Swagger Child Design Market when we were both stallholders together and I finally got myself one of her Growth Charts, which I had wanted since FOREVER! She was so so lovely we got along instantly, and not really surprising because we actually have a mutual friend in my home away from home in SA! So, it all just made sense that the stars aligned and she won this prize of a full Family Photoshoot with me!
The session, like all of my family sessions with me, was held in a location of their choice. I wanted to know where they love to visit, what they love to do together, share a little piece of their world with me so I could photograph it, freeze it in time for them to look back on and remember the moments forever. I was giddy with excitement when they told me the love to visit the city! Melbourne. The coolest place on earth, most livable city 7 years running…of course they love it too!

So we headed in and visited ACDC Lane, checked out the artwork on the walls, danced in the alleyways, pretended we were rockstars for a quiet Sunday morning in the CBD. From the very beginning, there was promise of a donut from Donut Time as soon as there was a break in the fun to get there…I was just as excited as the girls were really…love a good donut! Although my waste line perhaps does not agree 😉

Once we were all sugared up it was time to head back up towards the laneways and head home for a lazy Sunday at home. I am a ridiculously big fan of old doorways and of course we found a couple along Flinders Lane so I convinced the girls that it was a good idea to grab just a couple more photos before saying goodbye.

I truly loved every minute of this session with the Young Family. Sunday mornings in this incredible city of ours are so peaceful and entertaining and delicious! Thank you Bek and Simon, Matilda and Scarlett, for entering my birthday giveaway, for choosing me as your family photographer, for laughing together, loving each other and allowing me to photograph you all in such a cool way.

Melbourne Maternity Photographer | McLean Family

The STUNNING Ashleigh growing baby number 3 was lucky enough to win my Instagram Competition many months ago, a Maternity Photography Session just for her and her gorgeous family. There was dancing, cuddling, a game of ring-a-ring-a-rosie, wrestling with Dad, walking along the track by the river, more cuddles, cheeky smiles, a game of footy, everything a happy Maternity Photographer could ask for…and my oh my, what a world this little Miss was going to be born into!

Thank you McLean Family for following me on Instagram, for entering my competition and introducing your world of fun to me ❤

Baby Hudson | Melbourne Newborn Photographer

Baby Hudson was born on Anzac Day! What a special day to share with his family. When I met him, he was just 18 days new, so tiny, so full of expression and oh so loved by his Mum and Dad.

Hudson had the most amazing facial expressions for me to photograph during his newborn session, I truly enjoyed having him visit my studio and would welcome this awesome family back anytime!!

Thank you Hudson for being the best little newborn model of the day and for making me smile.

A New Home | Melbourne Newborn Photographer

Introducing Tiny and Brave, formerly known as Sweet Memory Photography. I am so excited to reveal the new me!!

Welcome to the fancy new website, a project that has been a huge task for me over the past couple of months, but one I have thoroughly enjoyed…to be honest, if it wasn’t so technical, I think I could see myself designing websites in another life! 😉

But it is SO technical, don’t even get me started on how anyone understands HTML codes!! So I won’t be changing careers anytime soon…thankfully I had the backing of the incredible team at Fotomerchant to guide me through. Along the way, it became quite an enjoyable experience, and one I am so proud to have made it to the end of. I learnt a lot, and now have a complete full understanding of my website, back to front…I think 😉

Before I began the build, I had no clear vision of what this site should look like, we needed colour schemes and a face…so to get that, we needed a logo. The logo is something I truly love, it is the face of everything and without it, none of this would’ve come together the way it has. It was something else I lacked vision for, I knew what I wanted, but could not clearly explain it to anyone. So while I had no idea what I did want, I knew what I didn’t want. The old one, obviously had the wrong name, but it just wasn’t right, it didn’t feel like ‘me’ anymore. After many attempts at making it myself, I just wasn’t getting the result I had hoped, endless Googling got me nowhere fast.

So I made the decision, I needed help. A quick conversation with Lisa one day at school drop off, telling her I wanted to chat logos…quickly turned into a fabulous friendship between two creative like minded Mums, sharing ideas and passions. The perfect ingredients to bring the awesome Tiny and Brave logo into the reality that is today. Lisa Burns Designs, check her out, she is a quiet magician, and a complete lifesaver!!

I’d love for you to take a look around the new site, make yourself at home, stay a while. Enjoy the gorgeous faces in the different image galleries, read about me and my family in the About section, find out more about the types of sessions I can offer you under the NewbornMaternity and Family tabs, and read all the love shared by past clients on the great wall of kindness. If it all makes you feel warm and fuzzy, then the only path you should take is the one that leads you to the contact page…send me an email, I would love to hear from and get to work on creating new memories for you!

Melbourne Maternity Photographer | Ant & Leevai

Sometimes you work with people and they just stick with you. Anthea and Leevai are those kind of people. I knew instantly when I met them that I was going to have so much fun with them. Leevai brought a speaker with his own soundtrack, the day was a little wet and dark, but the mood was something special. We spoke about music and creativity and pregnancy. We laughed, I experimented with a new lens, got stupid excited about the sun showing its face for the first time since Autumn, they cuddled and whispered sweet nothings to each other and I captured sweet moments for them to remember always.

I could photograph these two every single day, that would truly make me smile. Their Maternity Session was just something a bit special. Thank you Leevai and Ant for choosing me x
